Love the paint running down the inner wheelhouses and all the white paint that ended up on the trunk panels. They painted the trunk latch too. With a brush?
I had a knowledgable friend (did a ground up coupe resto in his garage) go take a look. Rust and patches everywhere. He sent me a bunch of photos. The patches are the worst part, because you can't really tell how much good metal is left.
The car had been sitting in a humid warehouse in Florida for years. Therefore it is covered with mold on the inside. I live in Florida, and I can tell you that the inside of a storage unit here can be very most.
The good news is that the doors, hood and trunk lid are not rusty, because they are aluminum. .
I know on a bat that the rear trunk lid is supposed to be steel, in order to support the wing, but who knows.
The engine is non original and the rare black CSL headliner is torn and the sun visors clips are wrong and the steering wheel is wrong.
