Hi All,

As my CS is my weekend car finding havin go jump start - so is there any advice on how i can ensure i dont need to jump start after a few days not running?

I leave my ground cable snug not tight and twist it off after driving.Last for a long time for me.

either your battery is bad, or something in the car is using more juice than it should (parasitic drain). put a dc amp/voltmeter between battery neg and ground, you should have no more than 25MA - if you do, start popping fuses till you find the circuit, then go hunting from there. if less than 25MA, just need to replace your battery.

Battery draining

When I first got my coupe the battery used to drain after a month or so. Then I found that the light in the rear trunk was staying on. Once I fixed the switch, no problems.

I use an isolator to disconnect the circuit, also take the isolator key with me when I park it in certain places.
There is something special about the electric windows when you key off, apparently they work until you open a door once. Mine work with the key off occasionally, but not always. So I played with the door switches to see if that helped me understand the logic, still working on it!

The functioning of the driver´s door power window after the ignition key is removed, is something which I beleive the earlier cars did not have. An extra relay above the bonnet opening lever is associated with this function, I think... I may be wrong on both...
