Perhaps some misunderstandings in this thread due to this part is not visible on RealOEM for the E9.
But I guess it would be the parts #10 & 11 (metal and rubber) that we are talking about

those parts do not show up on penske, real oem or bmw-classic for US cars. it seems that they are available in europe for euro models
i can check with my dealer and help if needed

must check in some cases the plate comes complete
