Ok, maybe everyone knows this and I am late to the party, but just in case:
Bavauto's parts system has an annoying feature whereby they require that you enter the make and model of your BMW in order to browse their parts. I had thought that this system would deny the ability to purchase a part not originally installed by BMW on my car. It turns out that if you have a part number (through RealOEM), you can enter your make and model, their system will tell you the part is not for your car, but then you can buy the part.
I have been avoiding Bavauto for years because of the way their software works, but I needed an 82 degree fan switch, which seems to only be available through them.
So, don't be like this Ohmess!
