i don't need another coupe - and i don't want your car, i passed it up long before i bought mine - its a really nice one that i paid a little more than the fjord that just sold.

there's a reason people don't believe you - you're too negative about everybody else's car - it makes you seem desperate. grow up.

“rsporsche”
That’s what I am talking about a lot of mouth for someone that has never done the work and obviously so quick to judge.
High price for a 2800...

“Fjord3.0” Not the one that said “Miller” was involved in your car just thought the guy knew what he suggested…….

Although what is being talked about here and it is not only about you although obviously your misleading language on ebay is the subject>>
“Recently restored over the past year,
no rust”
And now obviously statements like this pushes the BS even more>>
“Fjord3.0” “You should know because you still have your rusty coupe”
This clearly shows me how much of a fantasyland you live in and obviously have no understanding about restoration, time involved or what it takes to do it right. Just take a look at the bottom of my CSI plus all mechanical replaced parts with new headers then yours and lets see what people say about which one is a rusty CSI (see attachment).

“Fjord3.0” “Find another car to trash.”
No problem pal, line the BS up and lets give the ones that have chosen to preserver these coupes for decades to come the respect they deserver for doing the work and restoring, not just a fantasyland fast $$$$$ from a real rusty painted CSI…..

The way this language “RESTORED” is being used now days to sell these coupes is like a cheap used car salesmen in an old black & white 1957 movie on late night TV.

“Fjord3.0” It looks like to me you just made $10K in two years and it still has the same battery in it as shown in the link above.

1972 3.0CSi Project--SOLD 6/09
Baikal (medium metallic blue)/black leather, injected, 5-speed transmission,
good-running project to drive while you fix it up or else the best CSi RESTORATION
CANDIDATE we've ever seen. Only minimal rust due to import to US early in its life.
Needs minor body work, repaint, upholstery, wood refinishing, etc. Completely original
except for MOMO steering wheel, blue velour carpet, and CD changer/stereo in glovebox.
Has cold working A/C, and stock CSi wheels and caps. $11,000.

And yes I do have a real restored first NOT JUST A PAINTED CSI F/S that is ready for your choice of color.

D ace you call that a restored CSI. Haha. LMFAO.

I think you should look again at your car that has been for sale for months. Missing the hood, grill, bumper, etc, oh yeah and paint missing. No wonder no one wants to buy it bc its a piece. Did you run out of money fixing the undercarriage that you cant finish it now. Did you forget to paint the engine bay or just throw some black paint in there to cover up the flaws.

Grow up and dont be like Jrannman. Or maybe it is?? This board is for enthusiasts and positive comments/feedback.

My turn for the soapbox...

d-ace, you take shots at others for coming across as slick & sleazy used car salesmen and sometimes that is a fair assessment. But you, sir, come across as an obnoxious know-it-all who can only trash other peoples' cars. Honestly, it is the only tune you can sing, and I am extremely tired of it. Now, you can say that I should just ignore your posts, but consider this - coming into these forums is like walking into a room with pleasant expectations of sharing good, informative conversation about our passion for these cars. If you see the obnoxious, know-it-all standing anywhere in the room, those expectations are shattered and your instinct is to turn and leave. To recap, you bring me down.

Last point - if you think your repeated offer to others here to "put their money where their mouth is" doesn't make you sound like the lowest of the used car salesmen breed, then you are truly more cluelss than imaginable.

Sorry for the lecture, but I have been biting my e-tongue for as long as you have been posting on here.

That’s an enthusiasts and positive comments/feedback.
JUST A FRIGEN JACKASS STATEMENT BY BOTH.

And the battery does match both cars does it.

Have fun boys got to go...

d-ace ...

grow up dude. we are tired of your put down of everything but what you are trying to sell. i passed up your car to buy an extremely nice car, that is rust free and didn't need remediation - for a lot less money. mostly because of your attitude on this forum. and partly because i saw an engine in a car that still needed to be painted ... doesn't make much sense to somebody who has restored cars.

i have seen 5 other cars that have sold this year that i would have bought long before i considered yours - for the same amount of money. the beautiful ceylon car for one, the silver one in st. louis or kansas city, one that Blumax told me about, etc.

we ain't drinking your kool-aid or tea. we don't believe you and we are tired of your negativity. got it?

A big +1 to rsporsche.

d-ace: It seems like most of your posts are responses to cars for sale telling people that a given car is crap for various reasons, and they should buy your car instead. Or complaining when people question your car (which is pretty ironic considering how much complaining you do yourself). Not very constructive.

D-Ace- Would you be willing to trade your "Restored" coupe for my new house?

Let me know.
