Hello everyone,

I mount BBS Mahle rims on my coupe cs ...

I ask you experts what I should mount if the BBS Mahle 7x14 ET 19
or ET 11 ..

or ET 12 ...

Can you guys tell me what's the difference between these circles?

q I would like to have covered more effectively as possible to the wheel hub ...

the CSL model that should be??

HELP ME ---

-thanks thanks thanks

hello guys,

excuse me, I will not persecute, but could you explain in simple terms what differences there are between circles with "ET" 11 -OR ET 10 ET 12 OR EVEN ..... just to be ignorant ....

specifically the BBS MAHLE 7x14 h2 and if they have a 12 mm difference avrebbbero the many more or less than the namesakes et 11 and et 10??

hello and thanks

Hi, the ET number stamped on a wheel rim is the offset of the wheel. The bigger the ET number the more the wheel sticks out, imagine you had two wheels 14x7J one is ET 10 and the other is ET 20 the ET 20 would stick out 10mm more than the ET 10 one.

With reference to the wheels you are asking about you don't make it clear which wheels you have. If they are ET 11 or 12 yes they will be ok on a E9 CS, If they are ET 19 them I'm not sure about the front but they will be ok on the back

hello, I've got and 12 for my csl ... but I think on the BBS Mahle that csl 3200 must mount are those with et 10 ...

... anyway, I want to know what BBS Mahle mount on my CSL?

the model should be measuring 7x14 with KBA h2 ..., but with what ET?

10? 11? Or 12?

hello and thanks

First of all, if you want to go for originality, no 14" BBS Mahle belongs to a CSL !

There´s only one rim, and thats the 7x14 alpina-style !

If Et10, Et11 or ET12, whatever!
2 mm, you should not care a damn about it !
You like the BBS-Style ? Mount them on your car !
You want go for originality? BEWARE !

In my previous post I got the numbers the wrong way round. Actually the lower the ET number the further out the wheel sticks out. MY bad!!!

CSL BBS Wheels

Actually the BBS Mahle wheel was optional on the very last run of the CSL 'Bats' in '74-5. There was a special Motorsport BBS that is listed in the later parts books and was an alternative factory option for the 'L'. The wheel was a bit different from the ones depicted at this site, and have a BMW PN cast onto the face, as well as a script 'BMW'.

thanks coupeking ....

you have a picture of the rims I'm looking for?

in fact from what I'm looking for the circles that are almost equal to the wheels that brought his good friend orangener photos ...

have photos?

have an "et" of 10mm and the rays are slightly curved 30 degrees ...

hello

Hello,
on the theme "Mahle - BBS" I have collected some information. In my view, the aluminum plant Mahle had produced the first prototypes. These have been produced but apparently only for publicity photos and were not officially for sale. The problem is to raise these rims is very problematic of the tires.

Then followed a venal Produktiontyp was poured where cast BMW, Mahle and KBA40069 in the rim edge.

And at some point the production of the company BBS was taken over and now Mahle-BBS, and KBA40070 cast in the rim edge.

Finally, a few pictures and documents
