so how do the 211'a fit on a coupe with et-11 instead of et-24? seems like they would get close to the rear fender lip.

ET 11 will fit the rear fine. Front fenders will have to be rolled though. Otherwise the sidewalls will get shredded and can possibly damage the fender lips.

I assume that you are referring to the 16x8 211's which would rub up front. ET11 is fine on 7" RS005's up front. The factory alpina wheels are 7x14 ET11, same as an RS005.

Yes referring to the 16x7 ET 11 RS005s on the front regarding rolling the fenders, those are the wheels I have.

my coupe isn't here so i can't go out and measure it ... but an et11 on the rear will have the face 1/2" further to the outside than the et-24 of the same width ... unless i have my math wrong (again)

That is odd considering this is a factory wheel size on a car with stainless arches to boot.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought 195/70x14 would be the largest "factory" size? A 16x7 wearing 205/55 tires would have the correct diameter (or close enough) but would obviously be wider and, thus, could interfere with normal fender function.

That is correct. I have 15x7 ET11 front and rear, and the rear is pretty close actually. I think the 16x8 ET11 will fit but you will definitely need to roll the fenders.

Any rubbing up front on a 7" ET11 wheel will definitely be a tire issue. Adding 2" of diameter means you have a more squared off tire also.

+1 on the Kumho's......I'm a Michelin guy, always have been on pretty much every car I've owned. The Cromodora's that I bought came with a brand new set of Kumho's. It's hard to take off brand new tires and buy brand new Michelins so I thought I'd give them a shot. I'm pretty impressed, especially in the rain. They hold the road well. Anyone had any bad experience with them? Don't want to hi-jack the thread but it looks like its kind of played out. Oh, nice looking weels (and tires ;)) by the way....GLWS

All,

I have a few interested parties and will be working with potential buyers in the order that they notified me. I might be aquiring another set of RS005/RS006 from a local friend for another set of wheels that I have for sale. If I end up making the deal, I will let you all know.

Also, I can test fit the wheels this weekend on a friend's E9 and provide pictures if not sold by then.

Best,

Alex

All,

I have updated the thread with close up pictures of the front and rear of all four wheels. I also updated my ad to include that one of the rear 211's inner barrel was repaired at some point prior to my purchase. It was discovered by a prospective buyer when I provided pictures yesterday. I did not realize that the barrel had been repaired due to the dirt and grime that was on the inner wheel. So, today after work I came home and cleaned all the wheels thoroughly and took pictures to post. The repair looks to have been professionally done and the wheels all balance out fine. I had no issues while they were mounted on my E28.

The wheels are currently still available...Please feel free to look up my seller feedback on eBay under the same handle Collin380. Although new to this forum, I am a long time member of others and have always been an honest and upfront seller.

Thank you,

Alex
