14 years using atf from bmw dealer
Any Dexron compatible ATF should work well. Make sure you change the filter in the canister if you don’t know when it was done last.

Does anyone know if this filter may be available at any chain auto shops - Advance Auto eg? Or only the usual Beemer shops?
