"Lots of potential"
I notice that the seller uses the words "...excellent original..." to describe this and other frighteningly decrepit cars in his inventory. English is my primary language and I am unable to fathom what he means by that phrase. Anyone have a clue?
Ahhhhhh Yes !!!!!!!! Now it makes sense. Now where is Homer??...easy mistake Jeff. You need to use the inflection used by Mr Montgomery Burns when saying "excellent ".
It's hard to imagine where BHCC finds such consistently awful examples. You'd think, just by chance, that every once in awhile they would have a decent car on the lot. This poor coupe looks like it spent some time underwater - I've never seen a dash or steering wheel's wood rim look this bad:
I've said it before and will say it again... BHCC must have discovered a sunken cargo ship full of cars and are slowing bringing them to the surface judging by the standard of many of their listings. I too have wondered where they keep finding cars and nearly all are in decrepit condition. In many many months of watching the market I have only ever seen them have one example that was a decent example for reasonable asking price... a 1973 3.0csi for 25k. Oddly when I called they warned of there being rust, yet it was litterally the best and lowest cancer car I have ever seen them with. It must be their standard disclaimer lol
