They are on12mm post frames.
I do have another set of frames that are 10mm. They have slight bend in them that would straighten out easily

i like the raised end headrests. if i remember correctly, late '73 had the raised ends but had the 10mm posts. true 74 models had the 12mm posts. I COULD be wrong about this. my seats have 10mm posts. might not be that hard to swap the foam and cover.

Not hard at all. Just doing my brown (Braun?) headrests.

Excuse my ignorance...these are for an E3?... Are they the same as E9?

My guess (although not the authority) is that the actual headrest and inner foam would come off and be able to be used on e9 frame.
