Blumax has a new home

We delivered Blumax today to its new owner in Santa Barbara and tomorrow it will head up to San Jose. What a great drive of 125 miles in perfect weather and light traffic, Blumax ran flawlessly perhaps anticipating the next chapter in his life. We spent 1 1/2 hours with the new owner (who knows more about coupes than many of us!) going over every inch of Blumax. He will join her 72 3.0CS that has been in her care for 31 years. We hope to see a photo of both coupes together shortly. Before heading home we had a great lunch in Summerland. Here are a couple pics, the last one is of Dave and Jeff Fowler. Beatriz also rode along for the last time.

That photo at the SB Cars and Coffee reminded me of Crystal Cove. Which then reminded me of the day Car Crazy came to interview Murray. Very nicely done to all who were involved with helping Murray, Beatriz and the boys.
