bmw 3.0S new air filtrer

hello guys,
I would advice to remove the filter housing of my 3.0 s

I would like to put 2 air box with mesh and chrome!
you have any suggestions?

do you know if it changes the torque curve?

Yes it changes the torqu curve, but with less torque because of the hot air the open filters are breating in. The carburetors are tuned for the stock filters and this filterhousing is perfect designed for the setup.
