I got my new M/C today. but i noticed something noone mentioned here on the forum.
there is no port for the rear brakes.
and the ports for the brake reservoir are way too big...
so now what?

ok as far as part two of the problem is concerned. i found a reservoir bottle for a E31 seems to fit the 655csi
M/C...
if i can make up some sort of a tee fitting, i can feed the rear off of one of the second line... i hope at least :)
and that would take care of the missing port problem

Sounds wrong.

There were three that I'm aware of; maybe 4 if you count ABS coming in at sometime- all had multiple ports as far as I can tell.

My suggestion is not to T-off a single port. In the likely eventuality that a caliper/ cylinder fails- you have nothing; as the second port is missing. No brakes.

I'd send it back and be safe.

the circuit for the rear calipers runs of the second piston. along with the front.
the first piston runs the front alone for the reason you described.
i only have 4 ports on that caliper for brake lines. the old M/C had 5
