hello to you here is the picture of my zf 5 speed gearbox to be in my bmw GS-tuning. I will update you with my parts that have to be put in the car:-D:-D:-D

Nice gearbox, but am I missing something ? You had bought the yellow / black 3.0 csl gs tuning car and restoring it, or you build a replica ?

hey no I have purchased a genuine cs GS not CSL body that we are starting to Restorer, the car is from 75 car is born with a 10: 1 pom, with Solex 40/45 DDH 300 degrees cam. Expect that the car is ready to spring if the're interested, I will update the page with some pictures
I am therefore very interesert how many people who also have a E 9 GS because it is very difficult to find out how many have been made, I have all paper on my cart that is original.

yes a little history about the car. The car is sold from bmw dealership directly to GS tuning and then to the customer in 75 I can see in my paper that GS tuning company spent 9 days on tune the car. I have got hold of it from a private collector which he bought in Berlin, Germany. As I said before so the car is based on a cs body with all the cool parts! here is a little more photo .
As you can see, then they started to fix the bottom of the car!

found a small engine in the workshop:-D:-D

My engine and carburetor is at an engine cleaning!

ZF 5 speed

Always nice to see parts that cost as much as my house, or at least the cost of a new foundation! Yes would love more pictures....

Very cool.... GS bought from the factory and BMW confirmed.

hey guys it's a long time since I've written about my gs, the car would be ready for my birthday on August 9, last time I was in Munich they finish to get all the engine parts so they would start to create the monster with double springs per valve and much more (I did not know alpina gs and the other tuning cars used 2 springs per valve)

Did you rebalance the crank or was it that way? The reason I ask is if it was GS then that would be interesting. Meaning the conventional wisdom was that the rods and pistons be balanced or refined from the factory. Cranks were normally pretty closely balanced or that was the perceived wisdom.

Polished rod beams- very cool. Stress relief?

Pictures of the head; especially the chambers and throats? Cam specs?
 
hey I have not, it's like from the factory,

but I goving to Munich and visit the person who built my car, so I can ask him, I know he told me that one of the specialty stuff was that Gs used 2 springs per valve, so when the engine is running at 8000 rpm so it can even close to?,

Ther is a person named Jens Winter live in roskilde approximately 30 minutes from my home, he has raced in a 2800 BMW Alpina and many other cars such as the M1 Procar, he knew Gerhard Schneider and his technician and recer driver Dieter Basch, he told me that Gs engines were very strong and it should be according to him better. (do not know if he wont make me happy) He also said that gs tuning were sold to a racing team from Walter Brun.
He said they were beste to do fomel 2 engine
