E9 GS tuning

Congrats to a very interesting E9,

If I remember correctly Autohaus Gerhard Schneider was/is a BMW Niederlassung (pls correct me if I'm wrong). They are a BMW dealer that sell standard BMW to customers. In addition, they run the GS-tuning company at the time (sold).

The BMW certificate only says the 3,0 CS car was delivered to Autohaus Schneider, which is normal as they are a BMW dealer.

It's very good that you are in contact with the person who build your car. He can verify it, as GS cars are very, very rare.

Cheers
Henric

Thanks to all and to Yannick I have studied your car very carefully and the car has put some thoughts:-D:-D that I just want to own a E9 tunner car:mrgreen:, but they are very hard to find, In the beginning, I wont to own a Csl tunner, but must be satisfied for a Cs:mrgreen:
And yes the cover, I know well what means.
Henric do you know if there are some 70 tuner bmw is in Scandinavia

It's crazy if you've seen it, I have contacted some Italians how vill see if the car could be possible in Milan (number plate on the car) but the only thing they came to it was canceled long time ago. But I know someone who is in the process of restored a 2800 cs 1970 Alpina very exciting projeckt.

E9 GS Tuning

bmwe91974,

As regards Scandinavian E9 cars tuned by Alpina etc, they are very few. There is a late CSL Alpina B2-S which moves around in different european countries. One of the Scandinavian countries is one of these temporary homes for this CSL. There was also a 3.0 CS/CSi with after-market Alpina for sale in Norway a year ago or so. I think there are also some three-four E9 cars with aftermarket Alpina parts.

To my knowledge, no Koepchen, GS-Tuning or Schnitzer in Scandinavia. There is a CSL GS-Tuning in Cologne.

Cheers
Henric

Thx Yannick for the clarification,

Someone told me it's the U & R S xxxxx06 car in original Verona. Same owners since the late 70s.

Cheers
