BMW E9 Used Head $350

Selling my 1976 date coded BMW E9 used head.

Was running when removed. Needs to be gone through but good condition.

Pickup in SF or may ship depending on location.

More than likely from an E3 3.0S and not from an E9 given that E9 production ended in 1975... but totally usable on an E9 for sure. Mine has an 84 Head on it.

The date cast into the head has no bearing on which model it was made for. They continued to make new heads after the models were discontinued. Price is a bit high since no cam, rockers or valves though.

For a point of reference. I got a later version head, an '84, with valves, cam and rockers from eBay last year for $254 shipped to me.
They are considered better than the early, or middle versions. I think I got pretty lucky.
