BMW launches electric version of iconic 3 Series

It's funny, the author still refers to the grill as a "kidney grill." Grills haven't looked like a kidney in a long time. This one looks more like dragon fly wings. The overall design doesn't really do much for me, what about you guys?
 
Put a Chevy Cruze badge on and you couldn't tell the difference. Boring, wind tunnel, dull brain design. Trying to hold back.
 
I don't remember if it was the Bob Lutz interview I watched earlier this year or someone else who commented that car designers today often complain about how their work is constrained by the automakers "design language." It appears whoever designed this car managed to break free from the problems associated with BMW's prior designs.
