BMW M concept neue klasse brings motorsport cues to the electric era

I haven't read these articles yet.. but I hope that BMW has taken a better approach than Ferrari. The new Ferrari EV has generated some pretty bad press.

My brother, who owns a 308, 512TR and is currently negotiating to buy a 288 GTO, chewed my ear off when I asked him his opinion. He proceeded to send me a dozen articles that were pretty hostile...

Hagerty article said:
...the concept previews the design language that will influence the division’s future cars. It’s based on the i3, but it stands out with more muscular-looking styling characterized by a deeper front bumper, flared wheel arches, and a spoiler integrated into the trunk lid.

Well from the photos, the BMW's styling looks good to me; certainly better than the Ferrari Luce. A lot of the Hagerty commenters complained about the styling, but honestly, how good can a contemporary look after meeting the requirements for aerodynamics, safety and drivetrain packaging, not to mention satisfying the tastes of the Chinese market. Hey, at least the M Concept Neu Classe doesn't have an enormous grille!

But the pricing for the Luce was the other thing that the Ferraristi howled about; until we know the cost of the M Concept Neu Classe, the jury is still out on that issue.
