I own one BMW and many Volvos. I find it interesting comparing the cost of parts. I sometimes believe the old adage "what the market will bear" really fits the car crowd, i.e. BMW owner are willing to pay a lot more for parts than are Volvo owners.
Look at the below. I believe these are identical parts. You'll recognize that the BMW ad is from Wallothnesch. Don't get me wrong, I am happy that they exist. But I have wondered why VP, a company based in Sweden, has an "outlet" of sales based in the USA, but Wallothnesch does not, so everything comes from Germany.
