It would help if you described what level of work are you looking for? Concours? Bondo blob re spray? Decent driver?
You might want to check out Autobahn on Baker in Costa Mesa, they have painted several coupes.
Orange County Recommendation
I had a great experience with Richard Leong at All Quality Restoration in Midway City. He worked with me on both body work and paint and used a 1-9 system to determine how good of a paint job I wanted vs how much I wanted to pay. In the end I walked away very happy with an outstanding paint job.
With Richard you need to be interactive on a weekly basis and make sure you are answering the questions that come up and participate in the process.
