Heard Roy on NPR the other day. Apparently he made an illegal transcontinental run (ala gumball rally) in record time: 31 hours 4 min.
Car of choice? 2000 BMW E39 (M5). Rigged his car with night vision and other equipment. He thought the BMW was the best combination of performance/price/reliability. Average speed around 90mph.
Just wondering if anyone here has read the book and if it's worth a read?
