What is correct part for boot badge. I took of my existing badge and it has part number 51141872327 on the back of it. Walloth shows part A51141872328 as correct part. They have both and I do know that 51141872327 works since that was what was on my car. Anyone have more info

there are 2 badges - one is a flat badge that fits on a base, the other is a one piece with a shaped bottom to fit onto the trunk

the original ones were 2 piece - so if you were building a concours car, then you probably want a 2 piece. i will tell you that some of the flat badges are a little bigger (maybe 1mm or 2) in diameter than the base ... not the perfect match they originally were. i have a one piece ...

I have the one piece now. Any advantage of one over the other?
Always I mess up boot and bonnet and hood,...

To the Best of my knowledge front and rear are a two piece, same emblem raised letters alu, plus a chromed base, straight base at front and shaped base rear

They look a bit better and they are the original thing,

If you dont care much, you probably can live with the one piece ones if at least they are raised letters alu
