Well those seem to validate that my plumbing with a hose going in the top is correct
Those are for the 2002 and are much smaller. I owned a brand new 74 2002 and the hose never went into the cap, same with a 76 and my one prior owner 69. My friend who is the original owner of a 73 Tii is the same, no hose in cap.
So then why do those have a hole in them and the parts diagram shows the hose splicing off for going in the cap? Confused.
If the choice was
a hole, no hole, or a black cap, which one would you pick?
Mine has a hole, no hose. But at some point, I'll want a new bottle.
Right now first order is I'm chasing a pesky oil leak on the upper timing cover that suddenly decided to spring a leak after two years.
