Howdy - have the block mount, hardware and compressor for the sander conversion. Am I correct that there is a custom support bracket I need to acquire as well. Thanks as always. Tom

You will still need to source a couple of items:
a BMW wing cell bracket: part # 64-52-1-284-953
as mentioned above, you will also need a bracket that is made by a forum member here @Layne (see link below)

You should also consider getting a parallel flow condenser if you don't already have one.

Here are a couple of information sources:
Layne's Bracket: https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/sanden-compressor-conversion-brackets.34898/
AC upgrade with sanden style compressor: https://e9coupe.com/forum/threads/d...compressor-and-parallel-flow-condenser.38364/

Bought it from a member here. Off an e28 if i remember correctly. It’s the correct one.

Ordered Layne bracket from Wylie. Thanks gents. Have a drier, need to look into parallel flow condenser and hoses.

A/C, new stereo, install center console, install new tires and she’s done. Only took 4.5 years! lol

Good news is it’s properly sorted:
New paint
New interior
New door/window rubber
New Wood by Madeira Concepts
New dash by Just Dashes
Installed dual webers
5-speed upgrade
Euro bumpers
E24 air dam
E28 window motor upgrades
Strut tower brace

Time to enjoy her. Thanks again for all the support. Great forum with no BS or egos. Just like-minded enthusiasts and stewards of arguably the most aesthetically beautiful BMW. ;-)
