As part of the conversion to a b35 intake manifold I just finished shortening the brake booster mount and am ready to install a Tii brake booster. Since the booster is about 3 1/2" closer to the firewall the brake lines to the master cylinder have to either be shortened or bent to accommodate the change. Cutting and flaring sounds like the way to go but my last attempt on my 2002 did not turn out well and ended with a new line. I have also seen the lines bent in a spiral to bring them in line with the appropriate ports but haven't any experience in this.

Any tips, suggestions or links to how to's would be appreciated.

As always, the simplistic notion of changing something always produces a ripple of other interconnected effects. This means you can't actually complete any one task before moving on to the next but the brake booster is definitely the rate determining step.
