Yep. Import duties I believe. Plus VAT. but I’m not an expert and no agreement (or not) has been reached yet...

Best I get that big order in now!!
Vat remains the same, but additional import duties are to be expected. Not sure how much though.
Ok but import duties and vat on the total increased cost. Either way a bit more expensive for us.

Question about the details: what if you order and ship to your family in France and collect when driving there next time? Is it going to be required to declare when crossing the border?
Most countries have limits to this: often you can bring with you new goods up to a certain value. If you exceed the max value, you have to declare and pay import duties at the border.
Oh, there will be smuggling and a black market, worry not.
I just do not get why it takes more than 4 years to consummate a separation. Leaving the Mafia maybe be simpler than leaving Europe. Are they using lawyers that charge by the hour?
