Bringing Chamonix to the Arizona mountains - making it mine and fixing the little things

Not really a coupe update but it is still relevant… I just got back from a week in Chamonix! Maybe you could call it a pilgrimage - I had to see what was so good about this town that the Germans would name a color after it. And despite all the tourists, it is so charming! Definitely preferred the food and vibes to Interlaken, Switzerland where we also spent a few days.

I definitely wished for the coupe on some of those twisty alpine roads… would have been so much more fun than the rental Renault diesel. But sadly the cost of shipping a historic car across the pond was too high.

I took this picture of my gf before I realized it is almost the same view in my avatar icon hahaha

The main goal of the trip was actually trail running, and wow, it was amazing. The alps are so much more beautiful than any of our mountains in America!!!

Have any of you ever taken a trip to the color of your coupe? Siena, Verona, Malaga, or even Baikal? I guess there is also Colorado, Nevada, Bristol? Atlantic is too easy…

That sounds awesome! Incredible photos!! A European tour with a Coupe from the USA would be quite epic, if not so unobtainable.

Actually, the fjords of Scandinavia are on my list.

Love that the main goal of trip was for trail running! Looks amazing! One of my weird bucket list items is to run at least a 5K in every US state. We took a trip to New Mexico last year mainly so I could check that one off but, of course, we did so much more. I've got 41 states down now, still have the Dakotas and some SE states to go.
