I recently picked up a 1969 2800 cs and a 1974 3.0cs/csi/csl brochure, both in very good condition. 10 and 12 colour pages respectively. Foldouts in 74 - just like everyones favourite magazines.
They're full of great photos and technical info, the highlight of which is in 74:
'In extreme situations, a BMW does not collapse but yields.Systematically'
Im not sure that this explanation is not the definitive statement on rust.
What I am wondering is if anyone has one for a 72 CSL (injected), and are these of interest to anyone?
The 74 brochure claims the effect of the aero kit @16% less drag= 50hp gain, can see why that transformed it as a competitive car.
