So, there in Collier County FL, there sits this rather academic sounding place called the Revs Institute. Not only does this place house zillions of car books and memorabilia, it also houses some pretty cool cars. Only open a couple of days a week, and by appointment only, I recommend this place highly:

Despite the fact they only had one BMW on display:

They have a couple of Dan Gurney's cars, including this one:

A Studz Bearcat:

A Ferrari race car in the entrance:

A Mercedes Silver Arrow:

And probably the most beautiful boattail Bentley I have ever seen:

Given the choice, however, Enzo Ferrari's personal 250 is probably the one I would take home with me:

Go to their website. There sits the most beautiful prototype Porsche on the planet.
Amazing collection.

The Ferrari looks like a Superfast, not a 250, very rare.

My mistake; that is a 400 SuperAmerica. Only 14 were made.

As to the comment about Porsches, that is the largest collection outside of Stuttgart. Also, for Porsche fans, they have the Mercedes SSK there, which is the last Mercedes Dr. Ferdinand Porsche designed before starting his own company.

And I didn't even mention the Bugattis, Cunninghams, Duesenbergs, the Packard, Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, Pierce Arrow, Lancia, Lotus, Jaguar, Abarth, McLaren, and the absolutely stunning Delahaye.

A car guy could spend a ton of time in such a place.
