Buying parts for a car for sale?

Hmm, you may need to find yourself a nice e28 to ween yourself off the e9. It's like methadone for e9 owners.
As long as you aren't buying parts for a car you no longer own.

see post above about pricing for used E9 stuff... there's some dough to roll if you "happen upon" a non-salvageable coupe. As long as you aren't married, and/or have another place to store the bits, it could work...
Usually stuff that follows me home has to run. I've depleted the field by selling the E30 and E32, and the two K-bikes, so things are ripe for an addition to the flock. I'm thinking, strangely, about a 318ti, preferably in a dark blue or dark green with tan interior. However the field of choices on this island is pretty thin. Then there's the acquaintance who just sold off THREE Lotus Europas (Europae? something else) without telling me. But I think you have to be under five feet tall to manage those, and I'm eighteen inches too long in one direction or another. Onward through the fog!
