C/L RHD 3.0cs in Yardley PA

Can you say...

Hens tooth- you won't see one of these in the US everyday... Any British car enthusiasts out there that are ready to make the move half way over to the dark side?

With a Call name Cash what's up. Just kidding I love to play Johnny in my coupe too. (right?)

Hi Guys. I came within a bees dick of buying this baby about 4 or 5 months ago. Did the whole paid inspection on it, priced the shipping and fees etc to Aus. It's a pretty good car, brought over from the UK to PA a couple of years ago and not driven since. As per previous comments, a decent E9 coupe is hard to come by in Aus so I have been casting my net very wide - even into the USA it seems!

I decided against this one due to some rust on both sides of the firewall - it wouldn't turn of many of you but given the import costs it was enough for me to back out. If I'd lived in the USA I'd have bought her by now for sure.

Happy to share all the photos and inspection report for anyone genuinely interested in considering it.

Cheers.

E9Aus, I think I am having trouble sending pms. They don't show on my account. If you did not get my message could you send me your photos and any other info.

I have tried calling at all kinds of reasonable times. For three days. The phone seems to be shut down. I'll keep you posted but am not hopeful.

contacting seller

Not sure if the car is sold or not but he's a dealer and is sometimes in Europe. Keep trying or wait for an email response.

He got back to me, the car is under offer from someone in the US.

Why do the Americans always take our RHD cars!? You can pickup a LHD e9 for $5 ; yet you must steal our RHD!

Grrrrr :)

Generalization. We Americans don't have a fetish for RHD. Yes, they are rare, unusual, turn heads, here. But bottom line we too are looking for unmolested, rust free(a miracle waiting to happen) one owner coupes. In the end the purchase of a coupe is always a compromise. Steering wheel location has little to do with it.

A LHG $5K coupe is a parts car here or anywhere else in the Empire.

I would not be surprised if the person making the offer might export it just as the poster above considered it a while back.
