Hi All, I have been in touch with a forum member in Canada who wants to sell his 69 2800cs. The car seems very interesting but is not without its issues. There have been some rust patches in some unusual spots namely the inner wheel wells of the trunk and they have been patched but not really up to snuff. The front floors need replacing but there does not seem to be any other major issues from the detailed pictures I have seen. I have posted some pictures but if someone wanted the car it really needs a PPI. The asking price is 16.5K and there are allot of parts (10 bins) that come with the purchase. In my opinion the car would make a great restoration project. The price is not firm but since this is not an auction site I thought it would be best to start with the asking price. I have 2 attachments that describe the car including the 535i engine and 5 speed transplant, full rear vented disc conversion etc. (someone did allot of work here) that I can email but way too many pictures to post and the owner took all the glory shots that he could plus a full inventory of the parts bin. I just included a couple below, and I'm not sure if this appeared before but I was asked to help out since I'm in the US so- there you have it- If anyone is interested send me a pm and I'll send the attachments. Larry and I are trying to get a photo-bucket thing going but I'm new to that so don't know how long it will be.

Larry's car

I tried to help Larry sell to a couple of contacts that I have here in NC early winter...I was impressed with his honesty and attitude about the car...he shared many pictures, and I agree with Peter, that it has had alot of positive upgrades and, in my opinion a pretty nice car that needs to be taken to a higher level.

Hi all,
just thought I would mention this car has surfaced again and is being auctioned at Ritchie Brothers. With the better part of a day it looks like it could trade at CAD35k. Note sure if the link works, but if interested it ca. be found via a search.

it may have deteriorated, which is saddening.
