Trying to source some of the carpet ring-snap thingies...the two piece parts that come together to capture the removeable parts of our carpets, and snap on to the male part that is attached to the floor pan...Source? Thanks,

These were definitely on ebay recently but I can't seem to find them on there now!

The description on ebay reads: "These items are visible and mounted to the carpet pieces themselves, snapping onto a male plug mounted to the auto body. These male clips are not provided, and will need be recycled from your project."

However, if you don't have the male plugs to recycle, I'm pretty sure you can improvise with a common male snap + a spacer.

I bought the male snap the female components along with tool to attach the female snap to the carpet at an upholstery shop in Raleigh. I suspect any shop that does upholstery work for boats will have that stuff.

A whole set, including the female clips and male studs is available through this UK retailer at reasonable cost: http://www.bresco.com/cgi-bin/sh000...l&WD=carpet clips&PN=BMC.html#aKIT19P#aKIT19P First set listed on page.

From my observations as on most coupes, these male studs are either broken or are missing. Bought a couple of set from German Ebay a few years ago. Don't know why most vendors sell the female clips and not the mating male studs.
