I got carried away with the wood work; what do you think, did I go too far?

Wow. How are you going to attach the shifter boot, however, without ruining your great work?

What kind of wood is that?

The work looks awesome.

I think your OK on the shifter boot. It mounts to the side off the cutout via a metal band and some nails and should't mar your new finish.

Personally I think that it looks great as others have said. Not only do I think this but I appreciate how difficult it was to get the veneer arround those curves! It's almost as thoughit was carved from a single lump of wood. Well done :) .

Congratulations, that looks really nice!

Good Job! Are you bringing your coupe to Concorso this year?

Nice work Scott. Did you do the same type of work for all of the wood? If so, I'd love to see it. I will look fantastic with the agave green paint!

Looking forward to the ultimate unveiling

That looks fantastic!

I've always wondered what one of the really "red" veneers would look like and I'll bet it looks really sharp with the black dash and console.

How hard was it to get the veneer around this piece? Did you vacuum it?
