took advantage of the new garage setup using the very useful werkzeugwagen,...

after 1000km with her i changed all oils again today...

indeed, merely a burd excuse !

BTW, the cart is really, really useful, it is tiny, it can go around your place unobtrusively, and then you open the display of tools ready for the occasion, this time oil change, then brake overhauling, next one carb synchro, then stroboscopic fine tuning the ignition,...together with the lamp to see what you are deling with, not only is beautiful, but very useful...
 
Must be very enjoyable and therapeutic to immerse yourself not only in the maintenance but also the tools and accessories of the period.

was this a custom build or a racing model from long ago? Never saw one like it.

Pretty sure that's a custom as I have seen almost every BMW motorcycle ever produced at Dave Percival's from 1923 to 1976 and have not seen this one before.
