Mr Safety has no shoes!! That is a Great shot. You sure look young to be a Dad. Yes that would land me in trouble with Children's Aid.I was tall at that age but had no problems fitting for years. Even now at 6'5 I can get in it but my knees go out wide and the steering wheel is firmly in the crotch area! Makes for exciting driving, one wrong move and you pay!
That's an idea to consider - treat the rusty spots and keep the paint or go for a respray? Margay couldn't tell me what paint code it is, they seemd to think it was corvette blue or somesuch. The engine is a Tecumsheh HS50, the minibike forums say it's a desirable engine but I can't find a rebuild kit for it so may have to piecemeal rebuild it. Like Dohn's bike, it's very loud and definitely annoyed the neighborhood.

So funny. When I was a youngster my Dad was involved with a Golf Cart company that made a prototype electric three wheeler. Kinda like a dirt bike in my mind. It would do 45mph. Dad brought it home for evaluation for about a week. While he was away I decided that it was the most ultimate dirt bike of all time. Drove it full out all around the neighbourhood in B'aie D'Urfe , Quebec. Even took it off road briefly which was a huge mistake as it weighed hundreds and hundreds of pounds (Really pissed Dad off) Eventually I got pulled over by the cops and escorted home by the officer. Looking for a parent to give hassle to, the only one home was my Mom, who at the time was sun bathing in a Bikini in the back yard. My French Canadian Mum, was certainly a well endowed looker, and the cop had absolutely nothing to say other than mumble a bit. Bikinis disarmed the Gens D'arme real effectively in those days.
