I’m not big on recommending paints to people because of the ridicules statements the companies make like “it stops rust dead” when in reality all any paint does is slow corrosion down considerably if done correctly . Having said that POR 15 isn’t bad except that it doesn’t like to stick to new shiny metal, it almost needs a bit of surface rust or abrasive blasted metal to hang to. POR 15 dries shiny & smooth, sand it slightly with fine sandpaper and then blow it off so it has some teeth for the caulking to grab. I blew Dupont Vari-Prime into all the sealed up panels (rocker panels, door posts & such) on my coupe where I can only hope the phosphoric acid that’s in it will slow down that rust monster :?:. ~ John Buchtenkirch
