Claimed 573 orig. mi. Bav in NM

I own it, info and pics soon!

As in you just purchased it or you are selling it?

I love the concept of BAT with the comments, but I hate the comments. I don't always like them on here either, but at least opinions are informed by experience.

Fixing items, new belts, new alternator, fixed window, new wheels and tires, mystery to date, owned by original owner, elderly gentleman, looks as if car has less than 60,000 miles by close inspection of suspension etc., purely a guess. Looks like it was repainted in the early 80's as owner was pretty anal about his car. going to be a great driver, and yes it will be for sale. Pics soon

I'm still confused. Did you just buy it or was that your listing on BAT?

Yes, I bought the car, discovered listing on BAT, called immediately, went the next day to get it.

Some say they handle better than our coupes when compared stock to stock. I can attest to that having owned two running and two parts Bavarias including a 76si. I still remember throwing my first one into a curve and thinking this baby can corner. And then loading my wife and one year old son and me and all the stuff needed for two weeks at the beach with room to spare. Yes, as Markos says, Awesome!

I had a longwheelbase back in the early 90's and can attest to the super balanced cornering. Plus as mine was the 3.0L it had vented discs all round so had great stopping power to match the pace. Now that I have a CS, I think the CS feels a bit of a heavier car but to compare it to a driving experience over 20 years ago is hard!
