Classic oil leak from front covers

I’ve got what seems to be a common oil leak from the front covers around the joint between all four parts.
What’s the best order of repair and refit? Ie removal of sump or cam cover and which cover first.
Maybe there’s a thread on this but I can’t find anything.

After all new gaskets I still had a leak where the head gasket is expected to seal the top and bottom chain covers.
After discovering the significant leak I removed the top cover and cleaned multiple times with rag and brake clean, don't forget the weeping oil draining from head.
Then apply thin layer of silicone (both surfaces) with new gasket.
The following is a trick I heard from someone....
Snug the bolts up, then let the silicone setup a few hours. Come back and torque it down after silicon dries.
It worked for me on this cover and the tricky oil pan.
 
Also, the repair manual advises a drop of sealent in the corner. Here's the pic of the lower oil pan cover:
