Does anyone have photos of original cloth seats in a CSi tan leather interior? I would like to evaluate going to the original Euro interior if cloth was used. Is there a good standard source for the cloth to re-upholster?

Thanks

Johan asked a similar question and posted the first photo. ;) >http://e9coupe.com/forum/showthread.php?t=146

The following look gray/black or gray when new. With the help of the sun (and a few years), a gray interior may take on a decidedly beige hue. Thus, it is possible for a gray cloth interior to be described as beige or maybe even tan. Bottom most (rear) seat seem gray.

This outfit seem to offer leather/vinyl, but might try contacting them for a cloth supplier. >

The distinctive center panels cloth with the pinstripe effect is decidely unavailable, The velour on the outside might be available from BMW depending on color and is easier to match with fabric sourced elsewhere. It's the pinstripe cloth that's impossible to find. I've been searching for black and it's nowhere to be had.

Thanks!

Thanks everyone, these are excellent references!

So it seems: a velour type cloth on the outside and the 'corduroy' type cloth on the sitting surfaces.

BMW mobile tradition (Maximillian) only lists one type of cloth in the 3.0CS section, being a velours grey at $81.94 per running meter.

Any other advice or recommendations to locate?

LeBaron Bonney

Was looking through some Hemmings resoration fabric suppliers, and it looked like a combo of regular and corduroy ("pinstripe effect") Mohair might come close. I do understand that quality Mohair is very durable.
Any experience out there with Mohair or suppliers such as Bill Hirsch or LeBaron Bonney?
