Need help. Apparently it is my clutch master cylinder that mounts to the firewall that I ordered is not the right part. After searching everywhere, the only one I saw was already sold from Lithuania!! Does anyone have a used one I can rebuild? Mine is rusted inside. I have attached a photo of the part I need.

The top rubber hose goes up to the reservoir and the bottom hose goes down to the slave cylinder.

If it is not too damaged inside then rebuild it. Take fine wet n dry emery paper and wrap it around a wooden dowel, then coat with thin oil buff up the inside. Clean well and rebuild with a new seal kit. I got my kit from Jaymic.
I did this and it did work, however I then bought a new one online and it was very cheap, approx £25. Sorry I don't know they part number, however right hand drive may be different to LHD.
Good luck

Really light rust can be removed, but you need to be thorough and get a very smooth surface inside the cylinder, otherwise your seals won't last.

Oh, and installation goes much smoother with two. Right Chris?

Doing the master is never fun unless you have a lift at Mike's shop
