coffee in the coupe?!?

Yep, that is where having many fingers on the right hand comes handy... See picture of gear shift with ristretto cup.

For long trips there was an obscure Bialetti option only seen on Italian delivery CSLs. See picture as well.

you are the best !

the bialetti was done in conjuntion with an adhoc hole in the hood that improves the overall aesthetics of the coupe, so you can see the thing whistle while driving

cheers

Unfortunately it's not an option on my CSi...unless it was a dealer installed accessory upgrade option and a PO removed it.;-)

The color matched duct tape (Verona shown) was a US option that fits in the toolbox after a few rounds. The BMW cloth was used as a napkin to clean up the mess making it so rare today in its clean blue form.

Now the CSi option that fits the engine bay requires some plumbing and was only good for one cup. It cleverly brews into the windshield washer tank.

Any other questions grasshopper?

the 'CCCC for Cs'

Ok it's 'unofficial' now:

The 'Craziest Creative Coffee Contraption for Coupes' will be (should?) a new class/feature/shtick at Legends of the Autobaun along with the return of the 'Fastest Windows in the West'.

Only rule: the espresso machine's gotta work!

LOL- game on gruppe, (yes i have had too much coffee this morning ;-)

Fastrack

Good thing I searched for "cupholder" before posting. I like the duct tape roll idea. Will try that tonight. My current solution for the parking-lot we call 101 in my neck of the woods while driving to work in the morning is a strategically placed Fastrack transponder and a tall latte from *$s. Works for the stop and go traffic and going straight.

In all seriousness - any new solutions? Just curious.
I’ve found that exact Starbucks cup holder solution. For those who haven’t tried it, the “tall” version of their cup with a lid wedges fairly nicely in the corner next to the instrument cluster. Handles most driving situations—-hard acceleration is not recommended-trust me, I’ve learned
