For any of you forum members who collect model coupes I have added a new section to my website with pics of some of my collection. Go ahead, call me crazy, but there it is. If anyone has one that you don't see on the page who wants to sell it you can email me at [email protected] with pics and price and we might just have a deal. You never know.

...and i thought my collection was getting out of control. ;-)

Have you tried the FLY slot cars on a track? Guess ya have to find a track first....closest one to me is 100+ miles...so mine is still NIB.

will share a pic of my 'coupe corral' soon

I'm not quite THAT crazy!

better than collecting severed heads - you don't seem to have these ones...

Severed heads are on display in a hidden room downstairs. The room that has a door that looks like a book case but rotates into the wall. Crazy yes, but I'm not crazy enough to let strangers see my head collection! They're mostly the heads of missing politicians and those guys who made the incredibly obnoxious infomercials and obscenely loud car ads. For the last time.

You're right, I don't have all of those CSL and CSi models, I only have so much room and so many shelves so I don't do duplicates, at least not 1/18 and larger duplicates. I have the CSiL Batmobile and the early carb CSL and the race cars from the Minichamps series, the ones you pictured are mostly just variations of those. If there was a model that's the same except for the color like the Golf carb CSL (I HATE GOLF, SORRY!) and the turkis CSi (likewise) I just get the ones with significant differences. Like the FLY slot cars, there were lots of the white Motorsport racers available but the only difference was the number on the side, not worth another hundred each to have them all. Now that WOULD be crazy!

Don't have any slot car tracks anywhere near that I am aware of, plus they are more collector pieces and I don't want to get them scratched up.

All that being said, do you want to sell the Minichamps Turkis CSi? With or without the box is fine. Shoot me an email at [email protected] with a price and another pic or two. Or if you see something that's a duplicate like the dark blue Fly slot car with yellow numbers I am open to a trade.

Pedal car

Even my toy pedal car is undergoing a restoration program ...

Still needs it's overriders, a windscreen, number plates and perhaps an interior but i'm sure you'll agree it's a beaut (even in Turkis Dan !)

I would roll its fenders and put wider wheels on that toy pedal.

That is very cool, please tell us more about it - age, where you found it etc. I've never seen one before.
