Complete M90 engine with L-Jet harness

hello and thanks for your assistance
especially Don.
I made sure I have an M90 engine from a 1979 bmw E23 735i.

another doubt

I compared the pictures with my M90

with another M90 engine still running under an early 635csi series ...

maybe it's an optical effect, but it seems to me that my engine is missing a valve,
the one with 2 sensors right next to the printed number 3.5
strange thing for me ....

can you tell me what it is?

I got that wiring harness under my M90 from a 1979 bmw 728i ....

could it be that the 728i didn't have that sensor ??? and that the 735i foresaw it ???

my even powerful engine doesn't run well

it has all of the 735i first series
(mass air flow meter
control unit)
only the threads are from 728

when it starts it runs well
then it tends to go out and engulf
I changed all the water temperature sensors on the thermostat
but nothing happened

only if I remove the water temperature sensor it runs well and with all its horses, then it tends not to breathe well and then after 30 seconds it recovers ....
the machine I can only get out in this mode
then sensor disconnected.
Thanks for your help
A last pics my engine

Do you have this device on your valve cover?

additional Air slide valve

same action as valve under c-tubes

used to warm up engine.

another question
almost embarrassing

the wires that connect the ecu to the engine and to all the sensors that the engine has
then
combined releais fuel pump.
cold air sensor
injectors
coil
and all other wires

are the same for LJTRONIC 728i and 735i engines ????

or are there differences between the 2 harnesses ??

do you have a wiring diagram with all the wires and where to connect them ???
thank you

Tough question- Remember that
1. we throw those harnesses away
2. Euro harnesses are different than USA harnesses
3. No 728 cars sold in usa
4. No 735 jetronic sold in USA

I have a 728i (1985 German market car) if any info is needed... FWIW..... It has the original M30 2.8L motor....
