So, the ride height on my E9 is greater than I would like but the cost of CN springs with shipping and taxes is about US $700 . FWIW, my friend has CN springs on his CSL and the ride height is only about 5mm lower than mine ( which is not low enough for him either ) so not sure the risk is worth it .

Has anyone utilised their existing springs ?...I spoke to a company here in Perth and depending on the coil spacing/ pitch, they ostensibly press the coil "flat" and then re-stretch it ( presumably to the nominated length ) .If anyone has done this or has knowledge of same then would appreciate feedback ..I think I need a drop of about 20mm on the front .

This is the company I spoke to ...about US$150 to do 4 x springs https://www.boynessprings.com.au/

Don't know about that specific method but for about $0 there is always the option of cutting one coil off. Ride will be a bit stiffer though.
