Some may remember I previously posted that I found piano top pistons in my car, which I was not expecting.

Yesterday I did a compression test and again, a huge surprise. Compression test: 182.5, 180, 178.5, 175, 180, 182.5. Those are straight readings (average of two) at 50 degrees, dry sunny day, no elevation correction - I am roughly 400' above sea level.

This is the first time I have done this, and I believe the main thing is the consistency between the readings. Nonetheless, those values are surprisingly high, which I hope is very good news.

Redo #4
Then redo #4 with a teaspoon of oil.
What you do you got now?

Will do, but it will have to wait a few days (work, once again, interferes with car stuff).

Yeah, working continuously for someone else for 42 years wears on a guy after a while.
