How many coupes are going to show up this year , by the looks of it we are going to have a steller turn out,

My plans have gone awry! I have a ticket for the BMW corral parking/Concorso for Friday available if anyone is interested.
 
It does look like there will be a good turnout for the Concorso Italiano this year, augmented by some new cars and faces. We'll be there with the CSL, and at the Historics on Saturday. Look forward to seeing you all there!
 
OK ,
all nor cal coupes have to go past my town ( Aptos ) on the way so lets hook up and caravan down PCH. There is even a new Starbucks in town. We are about 40 miles north of Monterey , there are some nice Hotels in town namely the seacliff In , Bayview Hotel, Seascape resort these could be a viable resting place for you if you don't have a room in monterey.

Regarding the historics , which is the best day to see the later cars running, does anyone have the schedule. Last year I went on the saturday and seen the older cars scream around which was really cool (Sterling Moss taking Jay Leno around in the Mille Migla SLR was a pleasure to behold).But I would really like to see the Trans Am cars and some of the 70's vintage (csl's and 320i and M1's) . Please let me know if they are running on Saturday or Sunday

So how does the Concorso work? Never been there but I sense some excitement here. Does it make sense to drive early Friday just for the day?
 
It's a great event for anyone that loves cars, especially Italian ones. Unfortunately it's extremely expensive if you haven't gotten your tickets by now. I don't know for sure but I think tickets at the door are over $100 per person. If register to drive in it's probably over 150 by now, but at least you get entry for two people.

I am getting John's tickets. Will be dusting my Italian during the week. Are we still meeting at PJs on the way there?

Ok Nor Cal guys,

What time is a good time to meet up in Aptos /Rio Del Mar area on Friday.
I think the easiest place to meet would be the BitterSweet Bistro at the Deer Park shopping center. There is plenty of parking and it is off Highway 1 at the Rio Del Mar Blvd exit.

So anyone wanna meet up on the way down to Concorso?
seen the lambo group today getting a photo shoot on Hwy 1, nearly caused a few wrecks with people gawking at approx 25 of them in one place, whats that 25 @ $175k apiece so nearly $3.5 million worth.
