Dave/Markos, thank you both very much for the compliments. Yes, they are Cromodora wheels. I will take a close of up the center cap and post as I think the only ones like it (finish and patina wise). Anyhow, long story how I got them but let's just say it took months to talk previous owner out of them. I went that route because it seems everyone goes the BBS/Alpina/H&B route if going non-stock (and for good reason, they look great). But these are MUCH easier to clean LOL. And I just wanted something a little different, period correct, and rare. If Alpha and Ferrari could wear them and look good, hey why not BMW? These were an upgrade option in the day I am told so there you have it. I'm also working on another custom set of wheels that I will reveal at a later date, still in the works. It has been a fun journey so far but I still have a long way to go. It is driving now however and should look complete from the outside soon. Interior will be pretty together soon too, locks are fixed so plastic can now go on doors and panels next. Then I will need to focus on tuning motor, addressing engine bay items/paint etc. But also have a lot of underside that needs addressing over the next year. Not a race right? Well, not in terms of restoration I guess. What's been tough is trying to finish up after being unemployed for three months now. It's a double edged sword, more time than money! What a better way to pass the time though. Oh, one more thing, funny story. It would have front Alpina spoiler on by now, but we painted the wrong one. What happened was they make a similar designed spoiler, however one is for Group 5 flares, and one is for no flares. We grabbed the one that goes with the flairs which is waaaaaaaaay wider. We couldn't figure out what the heck was going on because I had seen this particular spoiler on an E3 before. Then we looked in the back of the shop and found the one we thought we gave to the painter. Ooooooops. Not the end of the world, but mystery solved.
