Greetings All! I am reassembling my engine, and am I at the point where I want to reinstall the spray bar to the cylinder head. As you can see these pictures there is quite a difference between using a 1 mm thick, aluminum crush washer and using two of them in effect 2 mm. It seems like the oil feed hole in the banjo bolt lines up better with the spray bar cavity using two washers versus one. Any guidance or help would be greatly appreciated!

No answer here either....
The last time I checked mine I realized it would be easy to over tighten the bolt, which I suspect would permanently compress the feed pipe..
Hopefully the pros jump in here.

I believe this to be the ultimate solution to M30 spray bar woes. It seals against the head with crush washers, and against the spray bar with o-rings. The design allows for proper torque to seal the copper washers without smashing the spray bar.

2 washers won’t crush to the shape of the bolt head.

Use the updated banjo bolt and the correct washer.

Or- use blue Loctite and the correct washer

Or-Cross-Drilled Banjo Bolts

There’s no excuse for not checking in your valve body every 15,000 miles and making sure everything‘s OK

Where may I purchase that setup?

Have a look at the oil feed hole in the banjo bolt, it should be round, a lot of them are a little oval which means the bolt has been overtightened and stretched a little If that's the case, time for a new one I like that new setup with spaced out fittings, quite nice

Thanks, Rick

I believe one washer goes above the rail, and one under the rail - happy to be corrected on this if I'm wrong
