Ok, I have searched and can't really find a definitive answer. I am 'planning' on repainting a set of e30 m3 15" wheels... Stock, Basket-weave, BBS wheels... Factory BBS, silver paint... ok?

Is there any source for this paint, rattle-can, Wurth, custom mix..? I can spray my own if necessary.

I hope its not just Polaris.... ! ;--) DCG (OK... ready to take some heat from y'all...)

I painted a set of Hartge wheels with some silver wheel paint I bought at Advance Auto, then clear coated.

May be easier to send them for powder coating, especially basketweaves, look for a Kwicksilver wheel service near you. They did a great job on my BBS RS wheels.

also you could take the wheel to an auto body shop they scan the color and reproduce it exactly and put it in spray cans i do it all the time
for repairing bodies

I recently bought a set from VSR1 and was thinking I could refurbish them myself. I would have the centers powder coated and the lips polished by pros. What's stopping me is the price of the hardware. I'm now wondering if it's worth all the effort and driving to save a few hundred or whether I should just take them to a professional where I know the end result will be top notch.
